Family Fun Fit™ was founded by Christina Kaufmann in 2003. It was formed as an umbrella to operate all her passions neatly in one place.

Christina is an 8x Ironman Finisher, multiple 70.3 finisher, and a Trained NCCP Triathlon Coach, soon to be certified. She is a mother of 3 and knows what it is like to keep all the balls up in the air to accomplish athletic, personal, family goals and growth.

Since 2003, Family Fun Fit™ has been home to a large variety of programs all with the intent of promoting an active healthy lifestyle thru Triathlon and fitness. Under the Family Fun Fit™
banner, Christina has coached athletes in all distances of Triathlon (Try-a-Tri, Sprint, Olympic,70.3 and Ironman) as well as general fitness. She has hosted multiple fundraisers and had numerous speaking engagements in schools to promote fitness.

Over a 20 year span in Toronto Christina ran a Masters Swim program (17years), a sanctioned Triathlon Training Group and a Triathlon Club which offered swim-bike-run workouts, coaching
and training.

Christina has provided fitness training for both soccer and skating teams and designed mental prep programs for them. She has trained Police Officers in order to pass their fitness tests and trained people to achieve their cycling fundraising event distances such as The Ride To Cancer.

When Christina’s children were young she designed and implemented a Kids Triathlon Program which she ran thru the City of Toronto for 2 years. Thereafter she ran it thru Family Fun Fit™ for another 3 years before changing her Coaching focus to adults.

Under Family Fun Fit™, Christina created and Race Directed 29 Triathlon Ontario Sanctioned events:

East End Kids of Steel Triathlon and Adult Try-a-Tri:

This was a community favourite that ran for 17 years in Toronto’s East end. In it’s early years, this event was an introduction to many who had never participated in a Triathlon before. Many families came back yearly over the 17 year span. Lots of the kids who raced annually as youngsters, came back to volunteer, as high school students to earn their needed volunteer hours for graduation. Many participants became committed Triathletes after this exposure to our sport.

Beaches Best Kids Duathlon and Adult Try-a-Du:

This run-bike-run event ran for 12 years in Toronto’s Ashbridge’s Bay Park.

Kids Of Steel Vaughn:

Family Fun Fit™ was hired to design a course, Race Direct and train all volunteers and Captains. Christina did so for 2 years and then the Centre took over the event. It is still a neighbourhood favourite over a decade later.

After visiting Collingwood regularly for over a decade, Christina and her husband moved here summer of 2021.

Collingwood Triathlon Club (CTC):

Christina founded CTC in 2023. Her focus now is to grow the Club, which is for all levels of Triathletes. CTC offers time based workouts 5 x a week with both am/pm options. This means that each athlete is encouraged to work at their own level of comfort and safely build from there. CTC is for highly competitive Triathletes as well as people starting out. Last year’s members included people new to our sport, as well as people who qualified for Worlds in their specialized distances. Last year’s members raced sprints, Olympic, 70.3, Ironman and
Duathlons. CTC is sanctioned and insured thru Triathlon Ontario. CTC Coaches and mentors have many decades of experience. CTC is the Club for you! Join today.
